Finding: logging planned in an area important for developing the forest protection network in southern Finland.

Clearcut plans of about 10 hectares of state-owned mature forests next to a small old-growth forest protection area. The logging will affect the ecological functions of the small protection area and destroy possibilities of enlargement.
