This old-growth forest logging plan was presented in Anything Goes? report in January 2001. The logging plan
was implemented in February 2001.


>>> Saarijärvi (K-4), Suomussalmi

The logging plans of the old-growth forest of Saarijärvi were implemented in March 2001. 20 hectares of old-growth forest was clearcut, ignoring the endangered species Postia lateritia.

Stora Enso and UPM-Kymmene bought the wood.
