Clearcut in Finnish old-growth forets. Ancient pine trees have been left standing in the clearcut site.  Most of the wood is sold for pulp and paper production. Birch pulp wood for Stora Enso. Stora Enso is the driving force behind destruction of ecologically and culturally significant old-growth forests in Finland.
